Tanning for the Summer!
Yep, I can't believe I'm actually doing it, but I'm actually tanning for the summer! You see, my aunt has just got her in ground pool up and running and we are going to be heading over there to swim sometime next week! :D But I'm really REALLY pale from the winter! Nothing is wrong with being pale, nothing at all--but I'm like a frosty okay! So, since I will be spending summer by the pool in my new bathing suit I decided I should probably get a little tan.
So today I laid in the sun for an hour while reading 'Beautiful Creatures', txting my friends Jessie and Hannah and listening to Eisley and the Civil Wars. It was a nice vacation from writing--though I did sneak a previously printed version of my novel out there so I could continue to review it. Yea...the writer is still writing!
My friend Jessie have agreed to start exercising and sun bathing together. Yesterday we walked two and a half miles and then ran a mile without rest! :D We were very happy! Then we had a water gun fight with my siblings and lay in the sun for an hour. It was great! So nice to be able to work and relax with friends!
But now I've started sun bathing on my own so I can get a nice little tan before this weekend! Again, nothing wrong with being pale and I don't want to be a piece of leather, but I do want a little tan because of my new swimsuit! You see, it's a bikini--yes I finally got one and I'm not going to be posting pictures.--but you do need to be tan to wear one. So I'm getting slightly tan, but not too tan. :)
But I've also started a new work out program--still burned out from Jillian Michaels. I've moved up to eight pound weights and I'm SO HAPPY! But they are killing my shoulders! :( Oh well, pain means that I'm burning fat and working muscle!
I'm looking for quick ab workouts that I can do each day--Jillian takes too long on some busy days. I have a 300 abs thing (for those of you who have seen 300--you know those peeps had some abs!) but it's also very long. Of course, abs are a tough thing to work, and you need to burn a LOT of belly fat for them even to show, a task I still have yet to accomplish.
But yes, that's pretty much what's been going on with me today, other than running by the library to look up literary agents for my book! :) Check out the post on that here. :)
So anyway, wish me luck...especially that I don't burn myself! 0_0 That'd be bad!
Here's my tanning partner, she found it strange that I was lying on the ground...maybe she thought I was dead because I was so pale! LOL!
Anyway, hope to chat with you later,
Your ever busy and now tired blogger,
Rebecca

Unrealistic Dreams that Just Might Come True...
Yes...HP fan here! :D
This would just be SO fun! :D I'd have to get on fanfiction and figure out which of my characters the fans really liked....and then kill them! :D hahahahaha!
Very unrealistically romantic...but still...
I don't really have many 'idols' because people are just that: people. However...
I wouldn't mind this...just because he seems sweet. Of course he's an actor and you can't trust them as far as you can throw them. Oh well...
But these are my really REALLY wild dreams. God may not intend for any of these things to happen, but I trust him to make me happy even if they don't! However, I'm still gonna keep on praying and dreaming! :D
Your Dreamer,
Rebecca
The Fangirl in Me is Squealing! :D
You've been warned!
There are a lot of things floating around the Internet these days that have got my little fangirl heart racing! I'd like to share a few of them with you fellow fandudes and fangirls!
For you, James! :D
I'm not even sorry! :D
And of COURSE the new Catching Fire poster! I'M SO EXCITED! :D
I'd feel pretty safe with these guys--well, maybe not Dean--a lot of demons follow those dudes around! :D
At all Disney and Doctor Who fans.
"We Will Be Giants"
Look at the shape of the dress! Cinna you sneak!
Awww! Little Gimli! :D
Loki is not impressed.

Things I Want to Do!
Everybody has goals, and I'm no different! These are a few of mine, and though many of them are...well...rather far out--I'm still fighting to make them realities! So please enjoy my randomness! :D
Not saying I will have kids, but if I did I would like to adopt.
Since I'm starting to sing more often now, I would LOVE to be able to master this skill! :D
Not saying that I will get married, but if God put someone in my life this skill would be very pleasant.
This used to be my childhood dream--but careers don't really leave that much room for kids. Plus, I'm SO squeamish and such a drama queen a pregnancy would be absolute hell...for everyone around me! :)
I've already met some really awesome people who are--as it said--just as crazy as I am!
I would love to do this if I possible could!
Even if it was for just a year, I would really love to live in England!
Again, even if it was just for a year! :D

Fandoms I Love!
Hi guys!
My fandoms are pretty much all over the place. Over the past few years I have acquired a lot of diverse TV/Movie/Book interests. Sadly--a lot of people look down on others for liking these things...but here I'm challenging myself to state what I like and be true to my own style and interests!
1) I am a HUGE Potterhead! :D I absolutely LOVE Harry Potter and yes I do suffer from Post Potter Depression!
I first starting reading HP when the last movie came out. I was really curious about it (seeing how I'd grown up in the Potter generation) so I began reading. It was love at first sentence! :) Ever since then I've been a BIG Potter addict. I know I'm not a Pro Fan Girl in this area yet, but I'm working my way up!
I really love the thought and depth that J.K. put into the novels. There are so many fascinating details that must have taken a lot of time to weave in! Everything is masterfully created and I love the way she made the ordinary magical!

2) Hunger Games! All my friends--and I do mean ALL-- can tell you what a big HG nerd I am! I absolutely adore the Hunger Games! :D My dearest friend Hannah first introduced me to the Hunger Games in 2010, and I've been a fan ever since! I've got several awesome pieces of HG merch (including a Mocking Jay Pin of course) and I'm already counting down the days until the next movie! :D
My favorite character isn't Katniss though. I found Katniss in Mockingjay to be very annoying, but that's just me. I really liked Finnick Odair and Peeta however. Yea, I know, Team Peeta all the way! I thought the ending was very sad--but realistic. Cried so much over all the deaths in Mockingjay!
3) Divergent. This is my newest book fascination. My friend Hannah K. introduced me to it, but I must admit that when I read Divergent back at the beginning of the fall--I didn't like it. But I read it again over the winter and found that I had a new appreciation for it! :D I've already read Insurgent and I'm dying to read Alligent!
4) Les Miserables. Again, this is another fandom that my dear friend Hannah O. (We have two Hannah's so we call them Hannah O. and Hannah K.) introduced me to! :D She brought the movie over and encouraged me to read the book--and well, I was hooked! I don't usually cry during movies--but this one had my eyes watering at least six times (especially during "I Dream a Dream")! It's such an inspiring tale, but if you don't like singing or musicals you will most assuredly hate it because they sing EVERYTHING! The singing every single line wasn't bad for me and the girls though! We loved it and, on more than one occasion, joined in at the top of our voices! Go Les Mis!
5) Sherlock. This is the first fandom that my friend James ever introduced me to! He filled my ear with it for several months before I finally decided to watch it! I think I watched the whole thing in maybe two days. I was seriously hooked! After that it was back to the original novels--and while the show can stray extremely far--I find that the way they tie back into the stories very entertaining and creative!
But no I don't ship JohnLock. I ship SherMolly! And yes...I'm about to go insane waiting for Season 3!
I don't really understand the huge crush people seem to have over Sherlock. He's a total jerk!
6) Once Upon a Time. Yes, this is another Hannah O. fandom. She kept telling me over and over about OUAT until finally she made me watch it--and yes she MADE me watch it! But it really didn't take that much forcing after the first twenty minutes! I've watched almost every single episode--I got behind with finals--and we are planning to get together and watch the Season 2 final!
7) Beautiful Creatures. I discovered this one on my own. I picked up the book in a bookstore when it was on sale and starting reading it. I haven't gotten to the other books yet--but I'm really enjoying the first one! Later I will do a post about 'The Heroes of our Age' and I will list Lena as one of them! So far she is really awesome and I adore her! :D Cried over Macon! :(
8) The Hobbit. My Hobbit obsession--and I DO mean obsession--was spawned off of my love of The Lord of the Rings! I read the book last fall and saw the movie this past December and have introduced a few of my friends to the extreme awesomeness of J.R.R. Tolkien's genus! The Hobbit (book) is a classic tale of adventure and friendship! I can't even explain my extreme love of this novel! The movie on the other hand was almost completely different, but I still enjoyed it immensely. The casting in the movie was perfect and I really loved how Peter Jackson gave each dwarf and individual personality. Bofur is my personal favorite, next to Thorin and of course Bilbo!
9) The Lord of the Rings. As previously stated, I am a Lord of the Rings fanatic! I read the books and watched the movies for the first time when I was twelve. My mother actually introduced me to this series, and now I'm an even bigger fan than her! Currently, I'm re-reading the books while waiting for the new Hobbit movies to arrive. Still don't really understand why it had to be THREE movies with all the extra stuff added.
Legolas, Aragorn and...my BIG favorite---SAM! I'm a Sam girl! GO SAM! He was so simple, so gentle and kind but had the heart of a lion and was loyal to the end! He never left Frodo and also turned down the rings power! :) The only reason he held onto the ring for a split second was because he was worried about what it was doing to Frodo.
I also LOVE Gandalf and Radagast!
10) Tintin. This is a little known fandom here in America, but in the UK it's HUGE! I have been a fan since I was twelve and I've even managed to introduce a few other peeps to Tintin. If you've seen the movie, but haven't read the comics, I encourage you to do so. The comics are beautifully crafted and have great story lines. If you are like me and love some classic adventure then Tintin is definitely for you!
11) Avatar: The Last Airbender. PENGUIN!! I just discovered Avatar this past year but I've really enjoyed it! I finished the first series in three days! 0_0 It was so awesome! I laughed until my sides hurt! Zuko, Sokka, Toph and Anng are my favorites! And of course Appa! :D I LOVE Appa! Which is why I cry when I remember this...
A little part of me just died.... :((((
But this is the most amazing so ever and I plan on getting my sister to watch it with me! In fact, tonight we are having a spend the night to celebrate her Gotcha Day (the day we adopted her) and we might watch the first Avatar episode! I have a feeling she will really like this show! :D
12) The Legend of Korra. This is a sequel to the Avatar series. I've really enjoyed this one too! I haven't finished it because episodes are hard to come by and I have little patience, but I really love it! Asami is my FAVORITE character next to Tenzin and his family! Meelo is SO precious and hilarious! I think he has a LOT of his grandfather in him! :D I'm not sure how I feel about Korra yet...but so far she's pretty good! :)
13) The Avengers. This is something else James introduced me too! The world of Marvel has never held too much interest for me until I watched Thor, Iron Man and the Avengers. After that my mind changed and have since then I have really been able to enjoy the movies. I don't read the comics, but I have a fairly decent understanding of them via my dear friend James! Thanks so much buddy! But The Avengers is my fav so far! Just yesterday we went to see Iron Man 3 for the first time and really enjoyed it! :D It was a totally awesome movie and I'm so glad I got to go with my dear friends! :D
But anyway, I must admit...just so you know...I am a Loki fan girl!
But don't worry! I am also a Captain America fan too! :)
My Loki love is tied to my fondness for Tom Hiddleston, and also Loki in the Avengers and Thor is a pretty cool character. But Cap. is sweet, gentle and has all the true makings of a hero. So as far as character, I like Cap. as far as looks I like Loki! :D
But seriously, any Loki fans out there? Dying to fan girl over he and Tom's awesomeness! :D
But these are just a few of my fandoms, I have other lesser ones, but WOW does it feel great to ramble about my fandoms for a little while! :D I also have more interests, so don't feels shy about asking if I like something! :D Part of the reason I am starting this blog is to totally fangirl out and meet fellow fans! :D
So I guess until next time! :D
